Baby gifts for Burnaby families
Burnaby sits between Vancouver and the Tri-Cities, organised around four town centres: Metrotown, Brentwood, Edmonds and Lougheed, each with a cluster of new towers above the SkyTrain line. Burnaby Hospital on Sperling Avenue serves the city, and many families also deliver at BC Women's or Royal Columbian nearby. Simon Fraser University on Burnaby Mountain brings young faculty and graduate students who become first-time parents far from their own families, and a gift from overseas grandparents is often the first parcel their new apartment receives. Deer Lake, Central Park and the Burnaby Lake trails make it a green place to raise a toddler. Heights, Capitol Hill and Burnaby North add older single-family streets to the mix, so the city blends concrete and cedar in roughly equal measure.
