Where We Deliver Baby Gifts in Canada
Birbaby brings baby gift baskets, diaper cakes and newborn sets, a few with champagne or wine for mom and dad, to homes, maternity wards and workplaces from British Columbia to Nova Scotia. Every province and city page below lists gifts suited to it, with a postal-code checker, and the final date is confirmed at checkout once the full address is in.

Same-day baby gifts in the GTA and the Lower Mainland
In two parts of the country a gift can reach the door on the day it is ordered: the Greater Toronto Area and the Lower Mainland around Vancouver. Order by 11 a.m. Eastern for the GTA, or by 11 a.m. Pacific for the Lower Mainland, seven days a week, holidays excepted. It applies to eligible gifts only, and same-day drop-offs come between 12 and 5 in the afternoon for businesses and 12 and 7 in the evening for homes.

Courier cut-offs and delivery times elsewhere
Beyond the same-day areas, gifts go by courier on business days. An order placed by 2 p.m. Eastern, Monday to Friday, counts for that day in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Nova Scotia; for British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan the cut-off is 2 p.m. Pacific. The postal-code checker on each page narrows the estimate for one address, though weather or a building's rules can still shift it.

Holidays
No gifts are delivered anywhere on Thanksgiving (Monday, October 12), Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year's Day. In British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, Remembrance Day is a day off as well, so plan around it.

Hospitals, offices and gifts from work
Sending to a maternity ward? Include the hospital's name, the unit or room if you know it, and the new parent's phone number. Hospitals, apartment towers and managed buildings keep their own rules, security checks and visitor limits, so a gift may be handed to the nursing station, a concierge, the front desk or the mailroom rather than to the parent in person.
Homes generally receive their gift by the close of the day. Offices, hospitals and managed properties get theirs within business hours wherever possible. A missing suite or unit number can rule out a replacement or credit, so give the address a second look.

With a bottle for the parents, or without
Several favourites pair the baby things with champagne or wine, so mom and dad can raise a glass to the new arrival. Gifts with champagne or wine go only to a recipient of legal drinking age: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec; photo ID may be asked for at the door.

Grandparents, aunts, uncles and old friends overseas order with us often. Prices are in Canadian dollars and your card's bank converts the charge. Have the recipient's six-character postal code ready; each country page below carries its own selection of gifts.

- Same-day: order by 11 a.m. Eastern in the GTA or 11 a.m. Pacific in the Lower Mainland, seven days a week, holidays excepted, on eligible gifts.
- Courier: by 2 p.m. Eastern for Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Nova Scotia, or 2 p.m. Pacific for British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, Monday to Friday.
- Should an item run out, its replacement keeps the overall presentation, value and gifting intent.
- No signature is needed unless the location or carrier requires one. Champagne and wine gifts need a recipient of legal drinking age.
- Add a personal gift message at checkout, then follow the parcel on Order Tracking.
- Something wrong on arrival? Let us know within 24 hours for time-sensitive or customised gifts and within five days for other items, with photos.
